my worst roommate was one of my friends it was really really bad. I lived with her for about 1 1/2 years. When I first moved in it was really good we all got along. Then about 8 months I lived with her she thought I was her babysitter for her 2 kids. I would come home from work and take a nap and would be waken up by her 2 kids telling me they were hungry and there mom was gone and I was watching them. After that all started her friends and her would come in and start drinking and smoking in the house and eat up all the food that we bought. And they would all come and crash at the house for weeks and weeks at a time. None of them bringing no money in the house for bills or food. She also thought I was her ride because she didn't have a car. Then when I moved out she came to me crying saying she didn't have any money to pay the eclectic bill so I payed it for her and she was suppose to pay me back but instead told everyone that we knew that I was sueing her for the money after I volunteered to pay the bill. I'm no longer friends with her or even have contact with her no more.

My roommate freshman year of college got this girlfriend that he kept in our tiny little dorm room 24/7. Our beds were lofted and connected, so whenever they'd do it the whole contraption would shake like crazy and wake me up! It was seriously a bad situation and I was so happy for that first year of college to be over.
What sucks is that we had been friends for years before that but we were never the same afterwards.

YES!!! In college....She would eat my food while I was at work...She would go to bed at like 9 pm every night...making the dorm room pitch black! So I couldn't do anything.
Then one day I decided to switch rooms with a girl down the hall who was friendly with my roommate...So before I could get back to the room to pack...she had thrown all my stuff into the hallway. I tried to chase her down the hall, but I was caught!

I think that you'll get many answers for this one. ~LOL~
I've ever only had one bad roomate. She was high 90% of the time, her eating never stopped, had different men every other night & barely ever paid her bills. She was very dishonest & insecure to where she tried to cause problems between my family & my friends with me. After I confronted her on it, I moved out & we've never spoken again.

Yes...I hate to say it but my best friend...She is still my best friend but at that time...we just clashed. Completely different work schedules, different friends, etc. It was during our college years. At that time she was experiencing with her "gothic" side. I would order a large pizza for my boyfriend and I and then we would go to his place for awhile...when I returned...there was a group of people in our apt. on acid, with techno music, and my damn pizza was gone! They left the friggin empty pizza box in the fridge. Don't mess with my food! I remember they were all having cocktails and so I went to our freezer and took all the ice trays we had (which was a lot) emptied them all and put them back in the freezer.
A lot of them tried to intimidate me with their "dark" ways but you know me...I was like bit-ch please"
One night I came home to find a couple in my bed...can you imagine that scene. They had my lava lamp going, my Bob Marley playing and were in MY BED.
Without hesitation, I grabbed this skank by her hair and dragged her a-s out to the living room...my friend of course came out and got between us. I almost threw my BF's BAD CD's at her while she headed out the door and ran down the stairs...the guy was already getting his pants back on while I told him I better not ever, EVER see his nasty shrinkage and 2 inches even NEAR my room.
It ended with me coming home in a few days to find my BF circling apt. ads in the paper. It ended ugly but just didn't work.
We did have great times the first year but it was the second year when things went downhill.
I love her more than anything to this day but we had to go separate ways on the living arrangements.

I had a roomate from hell when I was a junior. The girl was so terribly annoying that I felt I was going to go crazy. It's really hard to explain the stuff she does.School is over and we are in college and we just don't have contact.Frankly,I don't want to talk to her or see her for that matter.

yeah my freshman year of college, my roommate had major mental issues and was a complete b*tch. she went to classes maybe twice the whole year and stayed in bed all day long. i would come back to the room at around 7pm and she would still be there in bed. i spent most of that year out at friend's places lol. her dad found out she wasted all her financial aid on random crap and she failed all her classes, so she hasn't been back since.
