It's widely regarded that the 1984, 1996 and 2003 are the top three drafts of all time (or at least from 1980 until currently). '84 and '03 had a lot of star power - Olajuwon, Jordan, Barkely, etc... in '84...James, Anthony, Wade etc... in '03, but weren't necessarily that deep.
Personally, I think the 1996 draft was the best. It had star power AND depth. Iverson, Ray Allen, Steve Nash and Kobe...and on top of that, there were a lot more solid NBA players, like Peja, Camby, Marbury, Abdur-Rahim, Walker, Jermaine O'Neal, Ilgauskas, etc...

You see 13 people are actually big in the NBA. For some of u that picked the 03' Draft, come on its only D wade,Lebron,Melo,Howard.................then who else???? So this was the best draft.

The Top 3 are easily 84', 96', and 03' but the i'd have to say the best is 1996 also, cause they were deep........
All-Star players like Iverson, Allen, Steve Nash, Kobe, Peja, Marbury, Jermaine O'Neal, Ilgauskas all IN THE SAME DRAFT man that IS insane.....

2003 no contest... Lebron, Darko, Bosh, Carmelo, Wade and more. DARKO'S a BEAST him and Howard will Dominate. Darko played a game against Macedonia (as part of n exhibition game for Fiba) yesterday he had 23 points and 10 rebonds.

96 by a mile...had so much more depth than 03...come on guys.
