Bad manners. They had a story on global warming last night on the network news. The bottom line is we are over the edge on greenhouse gases and earth will soon be toast.

The USA is showing the least pollution in history, so I don't know what you're talking about. There are actually more trees growing in America right now that there was in 1900. That's US Dept of Forrests study. 50 years ago, Lake Erie was a dead lake. Today fish are jumping. Industry has greatly reduced raw chemical and sewage to nil. Wish I could say the same for Socialist Europe and Asia. They are stinking up the place when it comes to garbage and air. Russia is very bad.
So to sum it up. We're doing pretty good here in USA.

Why do people think we can actually do serious damage to the environment when Mother Nature does way way more damaging stuff to the environment?
According to common theory, flourocarbons destroy the ozone layer, but one single volcanic eruption produces millions of times more flourocarbons than man has made in his whole history.
Nuclear power plants are among the cleanest sources of electricity with the exception of wind and hydroelectric which are less efficient.
It is incredibly vain on the part of humans who think we are able to effect seroius changes in the environment which nature can't repair.

They might just care about other things more. Sometimes what's best for the environment is not what's best for the family, the finances, the lifestyle, time does not permit, etc.

Its just a natural process in evolution. Humans are like a virus.They multiply and tend to consume everything avilable!you do your job and continue to care about it.eventually, things might get better

the times are different and people don't seem to care about anything anymore. it's another example of what society has evolved into. it's scary.
