Ok ma sis is an Aromatherapist and she has a Bachlour of Science Degree from Uni i think if your are going to go into that buissness you have to go 2 uni none of this 1 day course or Year course as it doesn't eally teach you anything. I have to say up here in scotland there really isn't any bussiness for it unless you are going into a big city where there are lots of Rich people so if you were considering it i would say look around Unis and see what they offer. Yes, there is an internationally recognised qualification, which takes about a year to do. You can get work but not really in the sense of working for a company, instead you are self-employed. It is always better if you offer other therapies as well, because not everybody favours aromatherapy.

you can do an ITEC diploma in Aromatherapy - the market is pretty saturated though and most therapists offer a number of skills in alternative.comlimentary therapy.
