same exact thing happens to me...not all the time, but once a year..my period will start coming a couple of days later..until finally i skip a month all together..this is suppose to be completely normal...my cycle is changing constantly...once i actually got my period twice in the same month...chances are your not pregnant, and i wouldn't worry...stress is a big factor in your monthly cycle..if your really worried..wait a week or two then take a test.

Well, if you are sexually active you can be pregnant. Buy a test and find out. It is also possible that stress can be hindering your period, so don't automatically assume you are pregnant. But that would be the first thing to rule out. If you find you are not pregnant, and still don't get your period in a few weeks, you need to go see a doctor. The exam is uncomfortable, but doesn't hurt. The doctor will check for abnormalities, do a pap smear, and be able to determine what is going on. Good luck, been there, done that... was scared out of my mind, and it was nothing. So don't worry too much, that isn't going to help anything.

Take a test if you haven't already, first off. If it comes back negative, there's a good chance that stress and diet played a role in your mentrual abnormalities.

Go to the doc, though, to make sure that you don't have any underlying cause that is causing this to occur. Once that has been ruled out, have him put you on about a six month course of birth control pills to get you back to normal.

Take a test. If you think you might be pregnant the stress alone from that fact could keep you from starting. Take a test and go from there. Either way you might want to see your OB going too long without a period can be bad for your health.

Stress and other factors can very well play a role, but anytime you miss a period you should do a pregnancy test just in case.

Stress could definitely be a factor, but why don't you try taking a home pregnancy test, or go see your doctor, just to rule out pregnancy, and then go from there to find out what the problem could be?

If you're pregnant you don't have a period, dot.
Most likely linked to stress.
It also depends on how long you've been having your period, if it hasn't been long then it takes a while to regulate.
If no, external causes, relax, do some sports, and if it really bothers you, talk to a doc about it. :)
