What sort of things could keep a married woman from having sex with her husband? (Not overly serious here.)?

I am developing a story about a group of married guys who work together to help get more sex from their wives. They come up with ideas as to why their wives aren't interested and then try to counteract them, but I need to some ideas about why a married woman would not be interested in sex.
I am looking for more than the obvious such as, she is tired, etc.
Any help?

she might be bored of her husband, or may be perturbed by something serious, or likes someone else?

Here are several possibilities from a real married woman;

1) he's not attentive enough during the day together and just wants sex at night; we have to feel appreciated and wanted to give it up willingly

2) cuddling is important, even if it doesn't lead to sex, that feeling of being loved in return is a HUGE turn on to us. Saying the words 'i love you' are important as well.

3) Try foreplay during the day, a passionate kiss, touching gently to arouse, don't deny your woman attention in ANY way.

4) Good old fashioned romance! Bring flowers, cook her a candle lite dinner, if there is kids, ask family/friends to take them for an evening so you can be alone.

5) highlight her good qualities and tell her about them, something along the lines of ' i love ______________ about you'

6) sucking up never hurts either, this makes us feel powerful and appreciative at the same time.

7) Conversation about HER, her day, her thoughts, her feelings, things she'd like to do, dreams she has, let her talk and you'll get a LOT of information.

(4) She doesn't feel he loves her
(5) She doesn't trust him
(6) Maybe she's pregnant and has some sort of issue with that
(7) Maybe he only gets himself off and doesn't take time to help her
(8) Maybe he doesn't give her the attention she needs outside the bedroom
(9) maybe she doesnt feel attractive.
(10) maybe she is one of those types that feels that sex must be all romance and candles, rose petals, etc. No kids in the house.

I personally cannot imagine not having an interest in it, however, I know people who do. Some of these ideas I got from them, some i made up. I hope this helps you!

From my own personal experience, being married for three years to the same man, I have been disinterested in sex for the following reasons:
-Mistreating from my husband such as name calling, complaining, etc.
-excessive tiredness
-feeling like thats all he wants from me at the time

Now on the other hand, to make a woman want to have sex, the man needs to show her affection, attention, and not only ten minutes before, but sometimes even a whole week before intercourse. This builds the women up and she has respect for her husband when her needs are met and not just his. Hope this helps.

Perhaps he is into kinky sex and she isn't.

She's a born again religious person who feels sex for pro-creation is the only way to go.

She found a new sex toy and he just isn't enough for her any longer.

She's discovered she's a lesbian and finds heterosexual sex "icky".

While he's at work, she entertains a number of men during the day and is supplementing the family income (where did her new wardrobe come from anyway?).

He's got the world's smallest willie and she needs something more substantial.

If you are a male, then women lose interest for all the same reasons that you guys do. Not enough courting. Sex becomes boring if it is always the same. Mostly, I think that both partners take each other for granted. Why have sex because you know no one is going any where. You just become stagnant. Too much effort for the same old thing.

Women can often refuse sex with their husbands when they have lost respect for them. This could be due to the fact that he is lacking in the skills of providing for his family becuase he is lazy and depends on the woman to do everything. He may not do enough for her around the home, or, he may have flirted with other women in the past or had affairs. If a woman is refusing sex with her husband I think she also wishes for another husband! However, she may also have some deep rooted anger towards men in general.

There are lots of reasons for a wife not being interested.1) No fore-play or after-play. We do like all the WHAME-BAM thank you Mame's. 2) Men can make us feel cheep, worthless, or dirty. Men can make us feel like some cheap WHORE THAT HE JUST PICKED UP. 3) A women is having sex with her HEART and SOUL unlike the man. 4) A man needs to make sure that the women feels the LOVE because with out it she does not want to have sex. Well if you guys are trying to constantly get sex from your wives maybe your starting to make it feel like work like they really have no choice.. Be Honest how often do you want to go to work except on payday. Maybe you should spoil them more with foreplay or do something special for them that turns them on.. Make it interesting different daily and you may get a better response.

I think its all in the mood that most men dont understand how to bring out of women. What I do for my girlfriend is always concentrate on what she says because by paying little attentions to what she wants she'll always be in the mood. What I did for my g/f birthday was reant a convertible Mercedes 450SL and I went to her job which is a local school and dressed in a tux I drove up with a dozen red roses and played Barry White's "I've Got So Much To Give" as school was letting out. He stinks because he didn't wash himself good enough. He's so hairy that she gags on hairballs everytime she tries to give him the foreplay he requires. He gets impatient with his own E.D. and blames her for not pleasing him good enough, so now she'd rather stab him in the eye then let him drop his pants again. She found out that he has a girlfriend, but is not ready to confront him about it yet, until the P.I. gives her some solid proof to throw in his face when he denies it at usual. How's that?
