I am trying to connect my pc to my tv. my tv is a whafedale LCD HD, It came with a connection lead, the problem I have is, the the part that connects to the tv is the same as the monitor plug on the back of my pc, the other end has three different colored plugs, Red, Blue & Green, these plugs wont seem to fit any of the addaptors on the back of my pc, can you get a lead that has the same plug fittings on each end ( monitor plug ) ??? this would make it a lot easier

You want to use the 15 pin D type connector that your monitor uses to plug into your computer. Forget about the Red, Blue & Green connectors.

turn the lead around put the end that's in the TV into the computer and try finding a socket for the RGB plugs. My guess is the very are part of the Scart arrangement but with out the square connector. You should be able to get he lead your said don't know where try some cable shops or computer hardware shops I know that does not help you at the moment. Good luck

Sound like you've got them the wrong way round. plug the 3 rca plugs into a scart adaptor for the back of the tv and the other end into your pc.
Switch your tv on to s-video and that should be you.

The TV has component video inputs. You will need a video card on your PC that has the same outputs. A suitable card would be:

Asustek GeForce FX 5200 128MB AGP DDR 8x AGP, DVI, TV Out, Retail Mfr#: V9520-X/TD/128
£21.95 exc, £25.79 inc.

Stock code : GCD-ASUS-FX5200

Video cards are Very easy to fit.

No Problem!

You can buy such a product.

££££ - less than a £5.

Here is a link of one being sold on ebay, either buy this one or print the picture and take it to a Maplin etc
