Marble Arch isn't on the Picadilly Line. It's on the Central Line.

Also, who was fired? The nightwatchman or the boss?

Maybe the boss was the safety inspector... and his negligence was the reason the train "catch fire and burne".

Or maybe it was because the nightwatchman saw it in his dream "last night" - when he was supposed to be working.

tried to kill his boss cuz he cheated death - Final Destination-style.

Though, not sure why he wud save his boss's life in the first place if this were right. Great, now i've just talked myself out of my own answer! Oh dear.

becoz the only way he could have dreamt is that he was sleeping on his shift, so he was appropriately awarded for saving his boss's life and justifiably fired for not doing his job.

He was sleeping on the job. Unless he was daydreaming which then means his mind wasn't on the job. He'd just been paid anyway so it doesn't matter.

If he saw it in a dream he must have been sleeping on the job.
