His clothing, his hair, or his cologne. Most men want to look good so they often ask their wife to advise or "Help!!"

My husband doesn't necessarily ask my advice about anything, but we do discuss all kinds of things. It is our personal policy that we do not hide things from each other, but that if we have problems or issues or good things or exciting things or things that just plain worry us, we talk about them. It's not an all-day talk-fest 24/7, and we do have parameters for our discussions, no matter how important or not (no yelling, no put-downs, being kind and compassionate) so that when we do need to have a very serious talk, both parties feel safe coming to the other and saying "We need to talk". One adjustment I had to make when we were married was to learn that my hubby needed about three days to think through things, and that when those three days were up he'd come talk to me and we'd work through things, rather than me expecting an answer right then and there. Guys see things from a rather straightforward, logical standpoint, while women tend to see things from a more emotional, "heart" standpoint. I know feminists all over the world want my head on a platter after that statement, but it's true. I'm not saying women are illogical, I'm just saying we see things differently. (My husband says that when I'm approaching a problem logically, I can be very brutal about it.) I want to be the heart to match his head- together, we make a very good team.
As for naming something a husband could ask his wife's advice about- cooking, getting stains out of clothing, and why the women he deals with are the way they are- my three areas of expertise. :)

well, I hate to burst your bubble, but not all women are stupid.
My husband asks me about investing, pension funds, taxes, etc since I work in banking, and my advice has proven to be very useful. He's also asked me about career advice, etc.
I also ask him about stuff that he's more familiar with.
It's a 2-way street, and I feel bad for men who married a woman who can only give advice and is only interested in baking pies and clothes. I also feel bad for women who think that's all they can do, and for husbands who underestimate a woman's brain.
