this is a difficult comparison because both players are extremely different... they dont play the same styles and positions...
as we all know, haslem plays the 4 spot so he is obviously stronger and a better rebounder and shot-blocker, he doesn't need to score too many points because he's playing on a team that has two future hall of famers...
rip, on the otherhand, is better offensively and averages more points because the pistons play a more balanced offense... he is a decent defender, has good handles and a good medium-ranged shot...
but if you compare them individually, i think rip is better overall... besides, he's an all-star...

Rip Hamilton. He just more developed. But Haslem has a very bright future. Rip is one of the best mid range shooters in the game. He is one of the hardest to guard because he is always moving.
Haslem Is a good rebounder and has good range for a PF. I expect a lot from him in the coming years.

Interesting two-some to compare since they play different positions and have completely different styles. Obviously Rip is better because he's more versatile, but the Heat would not have gotten where they did with out the defense and boards of Haslem
