because inside of every humans brain is a very primtive and essential part. it is called our "survival mechanism."
without it, mankind may have never been able to make it this far and we may have just died.
it is the drive that keeps us alive and makes each person want protect him/herself.
however, the bad part about this survival mechanism is that it always wants the best for itself.
logically, if you want to survive, you want to have the best.
so as every human works to create the best for him/herself, he often becomes jealous when he/she sees someone else threaten that advantage.

We get easily jealous, when we feel so strong an emotion for someone, and are in danger of losing that person, the emotion that we feel is fear. Fear always leads to jealousy of another, jealousy because that person usually conducts themselves with the kind of behaviour, that we wish we could have the courage to be able to carry through with. To enable ourselves to keep the perosn we have the intense feelings for, unfortunately sometimes those feelings can also verge on mental illness and can turn into obsession, if the other that we have the feelings for, does not reciprocate.

i don't get jealous easily but jealousy is just a human thing. As you get older i think in my opinion the jealousy sort of goes away. When i was younger i was always jealous of everyone else having more than what i had because well, they were rich. but now it's like, i'm going to school to improve myself and working at the same time.

In relationships, some people are insecure. When I was a teenager, I was jealous of just about everyone I knew. My friends had boyfriends, the popular girls, you name it I was jealous of them. As I grew older, I found that jealously got me no where. I learned to trust people and brush off my jealously by having the attitude that nothing was going to bother me anymore. It has worked for me.

well... the process is relatively simple... we get jealous when something that we think belongs to us seems to be getting out of reach. we get jealous because our brain tries to protect our property because it has something to do with our integrity as beings... when you loose something, you feel bad... the brain doesn't like it when that happens, so it tries to prevent it from ever happening. jealousy is kinda normal, because it's what we do to try preventing a lose... the thing that's not normal is envy.
take care ,)

to answer your Q, we're humans and well we got a lot of feelings that we cannot hide forever. it is common to feel envious of someone who has something better than you or has something which YOU had your eye on for.
so its human nature to be jealous :)

Life is all about learning how to control negetive emotions. We all need time to learn these lessons. Its easier to feel jealous about something than to learn not to feel so..

because people have their own insecurities so when they feel threatened by something or someone they become jealous..when people are comfortable with who they are and they feel worthy of things they don't get jealous. its all about peoples view of themselves
