At 12 years old, it's hard to tell what weight is going to be your best weight. You're still growing, so you need to focus on health - eating right, and getting lots of exercise. If you are eating healthy and getting lots of exercise, and you still look in the mirror and think you look fat, talk to your parents and ask about seeing your doctor about it. Your doctor can tell you if you are a good weight for your height and bone structure, and help you lose weight if you need to.

When I was 12, I weighed about 120 lbs and was 5 foot 3 inches tall. No one ever called me fat - they all said I was skinny. Now, at age 26, I'm the same height, and I weigh 110 lbs. I look like I weigh about 95 lbs. So, weight isn't everything, some people are just heavier than others. Don't rely on just the scale to tell you where you need to be - you should feel healthy and strong, and feel good in your clothes: that's how you know you are at the weight you should be.

Please don't worry about it too much sweetie! You sound just fine to me :-) And you've got plenty of time to make adjustments if you decide you need to later, after you're done growing.

No it's not fat at all, some people here don't know what they are talking about, because it all depends on your height. Not every 12 year old has to be 100lb!

If you've started puberty already, you may weigh more than other girls your age who haven't yet started to develop. I started puberty at 12 years old, weighed about 115lb and was not fat at all. I'm also probably shorter than you as well (5ft2), so you don't have anything to worry about.

Well done for losing the weight though, I'm sure you look fantastic : )

OH MY EFFIN GOD!!!!!!!you are sooo not fat!!! i think the firl who said the 95-100 thing is stupid and shallow, cuz 116 is perfectly healthy and i have a friend that is a couple pounds heavier than you,and we're 13!!!and she's 100% healthy and normal!!!plz don't get down on yourself,if you just eat right and stay active you can't do any better than that.be proud of who you are!!!!

You used to be pretty fat! 128lbs is kinda heavy for a 12 year old. 116 is a healthy weight.

Since you don't say how tall you are it's impossible to answer your question. When I was 10, I was 5'7" and 117 lbs. and I was really tall and skinny.

Well, how tall are you? that's important. My friend is almost 6" and she weighs 150ish. I however, am small and weigh 75.

No your fine. I would try to keep yourself at less then 120. You should start sprouting up here pretty soon and things will spread out and you will be perfect.
