All Democrats do not want the US to be involved in the lebanon-Israel conflict. Some want the US to stay out of it and stop supporting Israel.

Do you agree that the News Media is not very critical of Israel involvement in the War?

If the Jews were controlling too much of the Democratic Party, wouldn't the Democrats WANT the US to be involved in the conflict?

Granted that I don't know much about American politics, but I am an American Jew living in Israel, and I am very glad of the US's involvement.

It is nice to have one ally, one friend in the whole darn world who actually agrees that Israel has a right to defend itself from the thousands of missiles fired on it, from death and destruction. I mean, the whole north of Israel is mostly empty, except for some folks who are too old or too poor to go anywhere else. People's homes are destroyed. Is this a normal situation?!

I take comfort in the fact that at least the US believes we have a right to exist.

I have been watching a lot of the foreign news channels. I think that Fox News is supportive of Israel, while CNN and especially the BBC are very critical of Israel.

Incidentally, CNN reporters have admitted to giving anti-Israel reports, for fear of reprisal from Israel's enemies if they give a pro-Israel report.

Sad, but no matter which bias you think the news has -- pro or anti Israel -- you simply can never trust the media. It's always best to take their reports with a pretty large grain of salt.

"All Democrats"? You've polled every single one? Wow, you're quick!

On the whole, I think the news media is being mostly fair, but yes, I occassionally see areas where the media seems to blame Hezbolla more than Israel. However, I don't think this is a result of some media conspiracy or Zionist conspiracy. I think it comes from the fact that Israel is an ally of the U.S., and well, how can we blame them for attacking Lebanon over two kidnapped soldiers when we attacked Iraq for WMDs that were never found? Not that our government usually shies away from hypocrasy, but that would be pretty blatant.

I think the main concern for the U.S., the U.N. and, well, everyone, should be those Non-Hezbolla Lebanese civilians who are just trying to get out from between these two forces. Lebanon has too many factions willing to use this war as a cover to do away with their own enemies, putting everyone there in serious danger.

I'm currently reading Thomas Friedman's From Beruit to Jerusalem and getting a lot of insight into the current conflict. I highly recommend it.

The news media in the UK is overall quite critical of the Israeli position in the Lebanese conflict, even though Tony Blair has been reluctant to criticise Israel's actions. We're lucky in our country that our media is relatively free when compared to the US.
I think the problem is not that Jews 'control' the Democratic Party or the news media, but that the far Right - who whether Jewish or not support the free state of Israel - have too much power over media outlets and the Senate.
The news media in the US is reluctant to present both sides of the story for fear of being called pro-liberal by powerful Conservative commentators or politicians. These opinion-makers whether we like it or not influence the investors, advertisers and viewers who the large television news channels rely on to watch them.
That's why the US has an unbalanced news media in my opinion.

I am sick and tired of these anti Semitic lies. Name just one TV or newspaper chain that is owned by Jews. There aren't any. As for Jews controlling the Dem Party, Leiberman, a Jew and a Dem is in big trouble and may not be re-elected to the Senate. Stop spouting your lies; you sound like Mel Gibson.

Why should they be? Wasn't it Israel that was attacked first? Wasn't it Israel who has hundreds of bombs launched at it every day? Why should they be critical of what they are doing to protect themselves. the News Media is heavily slanted (except for Fox) towards pro-democats, its so evident that they despise the republican party.

Amen to that! shall we be acquaintances. Haha. I in simple terms want human beings for as quickly as might desire to place their thoughts aside and pay interest to the apparent data. and that i agree even whilst i grew to become into little and had no genuine view on politics i remember in college they continuously taught me liberals have been stable and that we didnt desire to be a conservative. Then i grew up and found out the version between the two and had my own critiques that have been on no account shared by using any instructor i had. fortunately i stay interior the south so maximum folk of my classmates have been on my facet. in spite of the shown fact that i continuously warfare in each and every government class because of the fact of my view and due to my wisdom of the data. Which in case you like to bypass the class i come across you may desire to study to think of like them and not the way you think of. Its loopy. I in simple terms quite desire and want that liberals will sometime pay attention to data examine them and see them. without needing their thoughts overpower their theory technique and reject the reality. so a techniques nevertheless i regrettably do not see this happening.

How about the white people? Are we the mark of Cain? I don't think any one group of people control anything. Why do people pick on the Jews anyway?

I don't think you are asking a real question!
