Never 'had' to buy one but I'd assume that the realistic one would serve the purpose better!!

Had to? lol. Who cares, buy whichever one you want. Why worry about what's more popular? You're not planning on showing it to your friends, are you?
A dildo is a private item which should be kept in a locked drawer next to your bed. Don't go waving it around!
But if you're just buying it for show, I recommend a huge black one. That always freaks people out!

Interesting concept, "If you had to buy a dildo", like get a dildo if you ever want to see your kitten again, and make it snappy!!!!
My personal recommendation would be a pocket rocket vibrating toy...

why are you buying one? for surrealism, for fantasy, just for the hay of it? ;o) if for an added c*ck or the only one go realistic. if youre going for role play fantasy or other go for pink, pink looks great on a gurl ;o)

Try the realistic one, it would help your imagination. But don't use one so large it's gonna stretch you out and ruin it for a guy you might meet.

haha get the colored one haha u'll miss the man if u get the realistic one..i had 2...a yellow and a red. both died a couple moths ago...(i ain't saying reasons haha) yet, don't get it too big and remember to buy lub.

a realistic gel one...or a pink glass one...i've always wanted a hand blown glass one but they are EXPENSIVE
