It doesn't sound like you need to lose any weight to me. Why not try swimming or classes with a friend if you want to tone up a little. There is no quick fix for weight loss.

I found the book to be very informative and easy to read.

I've lost 17 pounds in 12 days, I'm just concerned that I'm losing too much weight, too quickly. I will admit I haven't followed the guide exactly. I'm not sticking perfectly to the listed foods and meal plans (but mostly) and doing very little exercise, but the weight keeps flying off.

It clearly works and if I'd followed it exactly I think it would scare the living daylights out of me because of the amount that I'd lose. So thanks again for the information. I've never purchased anything like this before because they are usually full of trash, but 3WD has been a pleasant surprise.

Get started today!

Well you probably know that exercise keeps the body fit... And drinking water helps you lose weight as well... So your thinking about taking a few different steps in order to do this...But here are some things that can help: *Do not drink ANY sodas! Not even diet sodas! The amount of sodium that goes into your body can make you gain weight... (save the diet drinks until you've reached 120 pounds, that way you can balance your weight much better) *Drink water, milk, juice, tea, etc. Instead of soda or soft drink. *Excersise on a daily basis... *Try to look at the amount of fat on labels, try not to go over anything that has 10 g of fat or more... (or at least how much you think is a lot) *And lastly, try to stay fit, and you can even try weight watchers, because i know that it works!

Doesnt sound to me like you need to lose weight. But since the topic is weight loss lets start. They're many celebrities out there trying to peddle ridicoulous and indeed incredibly foolish ways to lose weight. The best way to lose weight is to stick to the basics and be patient. Losing to much weight to quickly can weaken the immune and digestive system along with making the patient weaker also. There is much impirical evidence in medical journals to support this. By sticking to the basics ie food pyramid & regular exercise one should lose weight over a period of time. Its quite understandable around this time of year for people to want to lose weight especially if holidays are being planned but one must be careful and try to balance the need to lose weight with overall physical well-being.

As a female now twice your age who started dieting at about 14, also 9 stone, I would like to suggest a balanced healthy diet, eating a little of things you really want so you're not depriving yourself and regular exercise. If I knew then what I know now I would never have tried silly diets cos they don't work! Well unless you've got loads of willpower which I clearly don't. You don't want to end up the diet/binge cycle believe me.

it sounds to me like you're a healthy weight for your height. i'm 5ft 7 and weigh 9.5 stone, i go to the gym a lot and consider myself to be slim and healthy. the best thing i have found to keep in shape is running, maybe start by going for a jog a few mornings a week, it will make u feel good and healthy! i don't do diets but try to eat healthily. the main thing u need to do if u do wanna lose a few pounds is burn off more calories in a day than what u consume, its as simple as that. most importantly try not to obsess about ur weight as this will make u unhappy, sexiness comes in all shapes and sizes!

My daughter's 14 and weighs just over 9 stone. She's beautiful - gets a lot of attention. There's no way she's fat. Please don't fall into the "Skinny is beautiful" trap. Eat healthily, avoid junk food and do regular exercise. Use your intelligence, not your scales.
