Well if not in prison they have to live somewhere. Of course nobody wants them around, but what can you do? I live in Ky. and our local newspaper posts the pictures of convicted sex offenders. At least that gives everybody a chance to know who to look out for. Also it seems like I remember seeing on tv once about a state that required sex offenders to place a sign in their yard stating that they had been convicted for a sexual offense. Of course if it were up to me, they would never be let out of prison to start with.

No. They re-offend. They should not live in a family neighborhood or be allowed around a school . They should have a sticker on their car and a notice on their drivers license indicating that they are a danger to children.

No. They should set them up in a community of their own, segregated from the rest of society. I don't believe they can be rehabilitated.
