I read a mag article about a woman who had acid thrown in her face and lost her eye sight virtually completely, but was nearly unscarred by the attack. My immediate reaction was, well, at least that's how I would prefer it if I had a choice. But then I was horrified by my thoughts. What do you reckon?

If I can't see what do I care what I look like? Beauty is in the eye of the beholder but the only one who really cares about your face is you. I guess it might be better if you were blind to not be deformed also. Glad I haven't had to make that choice.

Are you asking whether I would want my eye sight or my looks?
I'm already homely so I would take my eye sight. Or are you asking whether you should have had that reaction to her horror?
Thing was she didn't have a choice.

If I had to choose, I definately prefer to keep my sight.... who really cares what we look like on the outside.

If someone's not going to get to know me because I have scarred face, then I don't want to know them anyway.

You can always get plastic surgery to cover the scars... Eyesight can't be replaced.

both are bad things. if you have enough money, they both can be corrected. so if i have money i'd take the scars. cause they're easier to fix and are not as uncomfortable as being blind. if i'm poor god help me with any of them.
