I always feel uncomfortable wearing binikis because I feel like too much skin is being exsposed. I have large breasts and it feels like no matter what kind of top I get, too much of my chest is showing. In two weeks my boyfriend and I are going to Schlitterbahn with his family and I do not want to appear 'trashy' looking and my boyfriend doesnt want me to wear a one piece or cover up. How much of your chest is acceptable to exspose in a bikini and is there any style that help me feel more comfortable with my breast size?

you need to wear what you are comfortable with, especially around his family. it doesn't matter that he wants you to wear a bikini, you have to go with whal you feel comfortable in. if you go in something that you don't feel comfortable in, then the whole time that you are there, you are going to be self-conscious of yourself, and you are not going to have as much fun.

but if you are dead set on getting a bikini, have you tried a tankini yet. i too have large breasts, and i find comfort in a tankini. it gives you the coverage that it good, and yet it is a 2 piece. there are a lot of really cute ones out there.

good luck, and have a blast on your trip.

I feel sorta wierd answering this one cause I don't have much to cover up there...

I think Halter-style bikinis look nice on women with a large chest. I think support is more an issue than how much chest is actually exposed - if they are bouncing all over and look like they might fall out any minute: that's trashy. If they look big, but contained and supported, that's not trashy. It might also help to find somewhere that sells tops and bottoms separately, so you can get the best fit. Also, maybe ask one of the women from his family (preferably his mom or sister, if that's possible) to go shopping with you and give you advice.

You should find a swimsuit you are comfy wearing. Some bikinis have tops that cover your whole breast, and others make you wonder why bother. Maybe a tankini might be better than a bikini if you want more coverage, although your bf might not like it as much. Look around esp. in specialist swimsuit shops and you should find what you are looking for.
ANd enjoy Schlitterbahn, wherever the hell that is

You could try a mix & match bikini, where you buy a larger sized top, and smaller bottom. Maybe then you could cover up a little more. Also, try shopping on the internet. There are so many styles, you should be able to find something. Good Luck and Have Fun!

You hit the nail on the head.. find a bikini that looks good on you, is comfortable but doesn't expose too much.. you should be able to find one around.. it's impossible to explain how much is OK.. ask your BF for his advice in the case that you're visiting his parents and want to appear like a "nice girl" etc.

Try on different styles of bikini tops until you find one that you feel most comfortable in.
I've seen everything from woman just pretty much covering their nipples to woman that wear tops that cover pretty much the whole breast.

I have small breasts and wear the triangle-shaped bikinis that can either cover a lot, or if you slide it together can cover just the nipple area, however bandeau bikinis are always a good idea and don't give you strap marks!

Who cares, go with what feels right to you. I am Dutch, and many woman chose to go topless, not a sexual thing just a preferance, in America such a big deal is made of boobs and butts that it draws attention. Ever see on tv where they block out someone crack that shows by accident, you probably never would have noticed wasn't it for the block out.
good luck and enjoy the slitterbahn

it shouldn't really cover it all, but just enough ... take it lke this, if it's too small it might move and show off ur nips...and if u get it too big it might too...so my recomendation should be...either buy one of those 2 pieces with bikini/shorts and have like an exercise bra on...let's see if i can fnd a picture..just make sure u r comfortable with it...after all, u r the one that's gonna wear it.

Just wear what you're most comfortable in. There are some relatively modest bikinis that look cute and don't show too much.
