My fave CSI is CSI: New York however, given the choice, I much prefer Naval Criminal Investigation Service (NCIS).
The people in NCIS seem more real, more involved in their work and there is a stronger sense of teamwork and comrade-ness between them. The fact that they police the American Navy adds a more edgy and interesting angle to plots.
There are other reasons why I prefer NCIS but I'll not bore you with them now. I'd like to know what you think. Which do you prefer and why?

I like both shows, but I do prefer NCIS, because of the comedic aspect of the show. Abby and Tony are my two favourite characters.

I like CSI first ,NCIS second, Theres too much fooling around on NCIS, It makes the show kinda silly , a little goes a long way, not listening to D'noso, brag & act like an a**.

NCIS: this is one reason i like it extra useful (NCIS has a extra sensible time line for forensic diagnosis and etc.). yet one extra reason i like it extra useful is it has stayed extra consistent: each and all of the CSIs are transforming into extra dramatic and delivered humorous twists and turns (I used to computer screen them yet they have been given too outrageous for me). There are no extreme romantic sub-plots (Tony is the exception regardless of if it did not particularly stay for better than a season and that grew to become into extra of a suitable one... i'm particularly speaking related to the main important characters *from the team* falling in love and then all this hub-bub approximately "Oh, we gained't particularly be jointly yet we could date in secret", etc.)...
