Empathy is trying to see things from another's point of view, trying to imagine how someone else feels in a certain situation. Empathy is not wrong...it is essential. It shows you care about others!

Empathy is the ability to see the point or thoughts of another person. It is not necessarily agreeing with what they say but being understanding, sympathetic and caring. Not brushing their feelings aside but delving deeper into why and how they feel the way they do. It is also helping them think through a thought provoking or difficult concept. It is the opposite of antagonistic.
