No it will only mask the odor. On a regular basis when you are cleaning the toilet wash the porcelain part down with a solution of bleach & water or disinfect & water using a toilet brush or clean rag and clean under the lip of the toilet and the top part of the toilet and the base of the toilet. If there are males in the household direct them to aim in the toilet and not on the toilet. You might want to wash the wall down behind the toilet, also. This works for me.

Are you talking about the pink cube that you can hang over the side that smells like moth balls?

Not really. If you smell urine at the toilet
it is probably on the floor around the base of the toilet. Mop the floor good and spray the area
with Febreeze......

I don't think it would be enough. I have used those sorts of products a couple of times, and they really aren't very strong. I don't think any deodorizer will actually fix the problem.

You best bet is to try and locate where the smell is originating from and remove the residual urine. You could also try some of the 'enzyme' products from pet stores.

Bleach or Dow Scrubbing bubbles. Wash it down good with either one of these. I dont like the deodorant crystals. That only mask it.

Good luck
