Wow,that is a tough question.I dont think i have a favorite band.Each and every band has something different to offer.Each have their own unique styles and talent.I used to pick out bands that i liked and disliked,then a band i didnt like would come out with a song i did.If you limit yourself musically,you are only missing out on music that you may really like.With the variety we have musically,you never know when a band you may not care much for comes out with something you do.Most of the bands and artists today are very versatile so you never know when they may surprise you with something really great!

Hard to name one, in particular...with that said, and considering the current state of the world, I'd have to say Rage Against The Machine because they speak what we're afraid to say about our government and all the lies. System of a Down is also another phenomenal band that does this.

The Grateful Dead- they were so inventive and used open expression in their music. In the approx: 30 years they performed, they never played a song the exact same way as it had been done before. They were always improvising and creating as a whole. Amazing.

I don't have just 1...I love Radiohead-they have a different sound...Guns N Roses, Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Live, some old school Rockers...because their music is more orignal than the music that is out now.

This is a hard question for a music lover like me. so many choices but if forced to choose would say ABBA. They have such wonderful music some upbeat some ballads just lovely.

Rancid
Great band, terrific bass player & good guitar riffs but mainly because of the lyrics. They are stories about people.. like people i know. I can relate and their songs are like a backdrop to my life.

Avenged Sevenfold has been my favorite band for years. They are extremely nice guys, and their musical talent is outstanding. They always speak their minds, especially about politics. They are Republican and proud of it. And their lyrics are really meaningful.

Seether is my favorite at this moment. I think it is mainly because of the music and the lyrics for their songs. Very meaningful and really hits home at times.
