Every day...and I have special flags for special days...such as an original 13-star flag for July 4 and April 19...or the "Don't Tread On Me" flag for 9/11, etc.
Unlike some of the other answerers, I'm not embarrassed of my country!
(I flew the Dutch flag during the last Olympics because my wife is Dutch and they were winning some speed-skating something-or-other. Somebody left me some anonymous hate mail in my mail box about flying the "wrong" flag. Some people need a life!)

That is a thought provoking question. Since 911 and my personal determination that our own government committed the acts of terror, I have become less than patriotic in the "current" sense of the owrd. I am NOT gung-ho about the wars the USA has created around the world and I find myself hating both the Republicans and the Democrats for their traitorous decisions.
That is just my opinion of the current tone of politics in the USA. I am most certainly in a minority, and I wish I was not, but I am. I suppose people just cannot believe that their own government would kill them to launch wars around the world to profit from the arms sales, to boost oil prices and reap substantial personal rewards just for being an elected official. People simply refuse to believe it.
Anyway, to answer your question, NO, I do not display the American flag. It doesn't mean anything to me any longer. And I will never fly the United Nations flag, though the U.N. flag will soon be the flag you all worship, guaranteed.

Yes I put the American Flag out for the 4th of July, Memorial Day and Veterans Day. The rest of the time I put out a different decorative flag usually indicative of the season or Welcome or just plain cute. They are fun and give character to the neighborhood. I wish everyone would put them out but I suppose some people would not care to and some people might even find them objectionable. To each his own!

yes I do.......we do have an American Flag that we hang all the time everyday...but for Christmas we have all kinds of christmas displays

not at all, but I have an irish flag, a palestinian flag, a jolly roger, a peace flag, and a socialist flag that hang in my room.

My husband is a Sgt. in the army and so I display it to honor him and the other heros in the military.
