How is winter like in Manchester, UK?
What is the minimal winter wear that I should bring along & what kind of footwear?
Not many winter wear outlets in Singapore, I know there's one in Suntec, Simei & Jurong, anywhere else?

What would you be doing in Manchester? Work? School? I would say go to Primark= thats like an English version of Walmart, or TopShop or M.K.One, River Island, Mango....ect ect Youll find all of those stores in the Trafford Center ( exept for Primark &hearts )

You'll want a jumper or cardigan, and a wind/waterproof coat, but nothing fancy. Sometimes the weather in December isnt really all that cold and wet, and you can always get a scarf or gloves whe your are here if you need them. Most people dress as normal but with more layers.

lately its hot there, however sweater or coat will do.
