What pets do you have, what is their name, what animal/breed are they, and why did you name your pet that

I have a dog named Hazel, she's a malamute and mexican grey wolf (we just liked the name).

I have a dog named Momma, she is a collie and shepherd mix. Came to us as a stray dog, was pregnant at the time, we named her Momma Dog.

I have a foster dog named Bambi because she is the color of a deer.

And two cats Joey (already named) and Myla (my 4 yo named her).

I have too many animals to describe why I named them all, but I'll try for a couple.

The cats: I have a DSH/Tabby named Nikki. We just thought that was an okay name. We also have a Siamese/Himalayan mix named Sasha. We thought Sasha was a girl at first (so did the breeder, lol) until we went to get "her" spayed. He came back neutered- not that he had much to start with haha.

The dog: The family dog is named Emily, she's a poodle/schnauzer cross. My little sister was born about 2 or 3 years after we got the dog and yet my mum, in her just-had-a-baby haze, named her Emma. I guess the family just really likes that name.

The rats: I have two rats at the moment (I've had several in the past). Mishi is a black hooded and Newt is a black berkshire dumbo (meaning she's mostly black with a white belly and larger, lower set ears, basically).

The water creatures: I have four bettas that are still nameless. I got two of them for free and although I take good care of them, I've never felt attached enough to name them I guess, hahah. I also have a goldfish (a red and white ryukin) named Milton, after the character from the movie Office Space. It just seemed to fit. I also have three full grown snails (a blue, a gold, and a black). I haven't named the blue yet, but the other two are Louis and Foremen. Foremen turned out to be a girl (these snails are not asexual, yes you need two) and had babies with Louis, so I now also have about 40+ random baby snails.

The mice: I also have 12 mice (I breed mice, so this number will grow) named Toby, Jonsi (Yawn-See), Jack, Sparrow, Norris, Spot, Inide, Navi, Jubella, Nami, Taxi, and Etta.

Jack and Sparrow were named after Johnny Depp's character in PotC. Jonsi is after the lead singer in the Icelandic band Sigur Ros which my boyfriend loves. Spot is actually an Albino with no spots, I just thought it was funny. Navi is after the fairy in the video games the Legend of Zelda. And Taxi is a "recessive yellow" mouse. The others were just named because I like the name.

My cat's name is Pepper. But my parnets like to call her Princess Meatloaf, because she's a little pudgy. She's a torty and looks like ground black pepper.

I have a dog named Maddux, Maddy for short. She is more commonly refered as Maddy Moose because she is a large chocolate lab. We adopted Maddy so we didn't name her.

Right now we have my friend's dog at our house while they're on vacation. Her name is Seana and we call her Beaners because she is known for her gas and will eat just about anything. Even a pound of chocolate last Christmas. That was an interesting trip to the vet.
