All mamals have belly buttons, but they don't all look like a human belly button.

So that means that if the animal has hair, it has a belly buton somwhere.

Yes, all mammals b/c they were attached to an umbilical cord while they were developing in utero. They got their nourishment from their mom this way before they were born. My daughter has an belly button which was attached to an umbilical cord which was part of the placenta that received nourishment through while I was carrying her in utero. I have seen newborn babies, bunnies, rats, mice, puppies and they all have stumps left from being attached to an umbilical cord. The stump dries up and falls off and the leftover is a bellybutton. Most of the time you cannot see them b/c they are fur or hair covered on animals but quite visible on the human animal when wearing no shirt or sporting a midriff exposing type of garment. LOL!

All mamals are born with umbilical cords, which is what makes a belly button, most heal over quickly. Others will become like what we humans have, and even more will become little bumps kind of like an outie.
