This is random..yes, but I really want my ears pierced a second time and i have wanted it for a while!! Any ideas ??

Well when i was sixteen i wanted my nose pierced n my Dad said that if I had it done there would be trouble so........ I did it anyway! haha He was OK about it coz it was too late and my Mum loved it! Parents always have to disagree its there job. So if your sixteen just do it. Your Mum will see it looks really nice then she'll be ok. Or maybe you could suggest your Mum come n has hers done with you, sort of get her involved n make feel like she's part of it?
Years later i've had 3 tattoo's and even my Sister (the sensible one!) had one too and my Dad hates them but he got over it......eventually! haha
PLEASE DO NOT ATTEMPT TO PIERCE YOURSELF THOUGH. ITS NOT SAFE NO MATTER WHAT ANYBODY SAYS!

All the answers I've seen thus far are self-centered arrogant little a-holes answers from small minded children!
You DO NOT just get it done or threaten your Mom with something worse. You discuss it with her like a rational young lady and plead your case as to why YOU feel you'd like to have it done. Then be adult enough to listen to her side as to why you SHOULDN'T have it done. Think about it for a week and sit down and chat with her again saying you considered her side and this is what I think...
Believe it or not, she may have a really good answer for you. You may not agree with her answer... but when you have kids... you'll look back and think your parents were geniuses, lol!

How about just saying, "mum, it's not like I'm asking to get my belly pierced, it's JUST EARS!!!" Try asking her what her misgivings are. She may have some idea in her head that it is too punk or something? Show her normal girls, even grandmums, who have it done! Good luck!

depends on how old you are really i guess... if your under 16, then you will need a adult with you when you get the piercing... as you have had your ears pierced aready, then getting it done a second time isn't really going to be a much bigger deal..

well, i wanted the same thing...and i also wanted my ears triple pierced, and i wanted more holes in my cartiledge. well, i just popped the earings thru myself..i doubled, tripled, and i have 5 piercings in my cartiledge, all done by myself. its easy, doesnt hurt that much either. once u have the holes there isnt really anything ur ma can do about it, just tell her its your body and ull do as u please...
tell her that its not like ur getting ur nips pierced or getting a tattoo
o, i got a tattoo without tellin my ma too, she saw it...that face is memorable!

If you are 16 or older, just do it. But if you think she'll be really mad and make you take the earrings out, wait until you're no longer living in the house.

mmmm i was a bad one,my mum didnt want the first....so i had all eleven done without her knowing!!!!pierced them myself and kept pins in them so that she wouldnt notice..not very hygenic....how about persuading her that the ear-rings you have in will be just the small dimante ones that you dont really notice...if not that,just wait until you are old enough (you dont say your age) to do what you want anyway..

you have got to show your mum that you are responsible and that you have done well with your first ear piercing and remember ear piercing can get infected as easily as a belly piercing or tongue piercing

Why doesn't she let you do it?
You know in Spain, we do it to all the baby girls when they are 2 years old. It is normal. And women or girls look much nicer with earings.
Tell that to your mum and see if it helps. And just tell her, that you would wear small and cute earings.
Afterwards you can wear anything you like.

Well.. i had same trouble i have now got it done 3 times... i just kept askin and asking.. but if youre 16 just go and get it done.. u dont need any permission or anything signed if youre younger just give her some reasons or get anther family member to take you (she wont have ago at you becuase its not like your comitted a crime is it)
