the light has a hot wire (black color) and a neutral (white color). but i do not see a ground wire (bare). So how do i attach the ground wire, from the ceiling, to the light?

Too bad you couldn't have checked first, but you can ground the fixture if in fact you have a ground wire lead in the house/building wiring.

Attach the Green,,, or Gray if commercial, to the fixture itself by way of a small hole drilled and a screw,,, or where that fixtures metal substance comes in contact with the hardware it connects to. It's not the ideal way, but adequate.

if the box and conduit is metal then it is grounded. if it is plastic then there should be a green wire. remember they make lights and fans to work with all kinds of installations. if you attach the green to the metal box then you are grounded.

There should be a green color screw either on the light itself or on the box itself. Attatch the ground to it.

hook it up to the bracket , hook up the black one and the white one, and the other to the bracket somewhere
