many people failed to bring this president down in the last election by not bothering to vote...it is appalling how low the percentage was of eligible voters who cast a ballot in 2004...so blame yourselves instead of whining after the fact

No, not really.
Even if I were to admit that Bush is a bad president, I don't see what Bush did that falls under impeachment. Treason? Nope. Abuse of power? Perhaps, if you think all that wiretapping stuff was an abuse.
Just remember, no president has ever been removed from office through impeachment. I don't think the senate could get a 2/3 majority, even if a charge could be found.
- edit - Akinnon, did you really say the bible was fabricated by the illuminati in one point, then use the bible for a reference for the NWO IN THE NEXT POINT??? um... wow. So... the illuminati's and the NWO will have a battle royale in the near future? Can't wait for that ;-)
80% Population decline? I thought that's what the eco-friendly people want... ;-)

WOW -- I really enjoy reading answers about impeachment from people who don't know the Constitutional basis for impeachment or really anything about how our government system (not the people in the system) functions.
I also don't understand why no one corrected you on the basis for the war in Iraq -- which was declared by Congress (check your Congressional Record), which IS the proper protocol (check your Constitution).
Impeachment is how you bring criminal charges against a government official. But you have to have an official crime. Unfortunately, being a jerk, as many of you believe, is not a crime.
The Supreme Court ruled that GWB won the election in 2000. Don't like that verdict? Don't think the Supreme Court should be making those kinds of decisions? Get in touch with your Congressmen and women. That's why the legislative branch was created first (again, check your Constitution). It's up to citizens to hold Congress accountable to do their job. If Congress is functioning as it should, then it will check the Executive and Judicial branch and we won't have to have these silly conversations.

I'll write the really slow... O U R C O U N T R Y I S B A S E D O N A S Y S T E M K N O W N A S T H E E L E C T O R A L C O L L E G E .
The point of the electoral college is to prevent places like New York and Los Angeles from controlling the country and allowing people from rural areas like Iowa and Idaho to have a fair voice. The republicans won more electoral votes then the democrats, so Bush won. He didn't steal anything, you just don't want to admit that your guy didn't win.
It seems pretty funny that Bush lost the popular vote in 2000 and all the democrats were talking about getting rid of the electoral college, but when he won the popular vote in 2004, BY THE LARGEST MARGIN IN HISTORY, they were trying to change the votes in Ohio so that Kerry could win by electoral college votes. Oh, sweet irony...

I'm a democrat can did not vote for Bush, however, would this be a good time to focus on impeachment proceedings? I think there are many more important things going on right now that need our attention. Only two more years of this administration and then their time will be over. Just remember you must use you voice and VOTE for who you think would be the best candidate.

Not I, "Just Asking?!?!" other countries don't have the power to impeach a United Stated President. He won't be considering only about 5-10% of the US population would be on board (far-left). President Bush has done some good to the country whether you choose to realize it or not. While you probably don't agree with the war-effort or his tough "American" attitude in the international community that's not grounds of impeachment. You probably just despise anything thats not liberalism, sorry but it's America not Europe, I don't know why you would expect anything else. Most of the country is moderate/conservative.

Dubbya is a lame duck president, so he'll be out of office in two years. The trouble with removing him any sooner is that Cheney would take over the position. George is just stoopit, but Cheney is downright dangerous. So think hard.
You may want to consider a better administrative line-up for 2008. Perhaps we should use our energies to select and support those who would make up just such a superior team . . .

I think he should be impeached, but I also think that he should resign from office like Nixon did. I don't think he's a good president and national polls that I've heard have been saying that his ratings have been going down. He probably knows this, but he's still in office, and I believe that he should resign because he's had several different people attack him for his views, Cindy Sheehan for one, and I don't like his view on embryonic stem cell research, even though it is abortion. I am for abortion if a woman wants to have one. It's her right and the government is trying to take away a woman's right to health care and what she wants to do. Embryonic stem cell research will help many different diseases, but Bush doesn't want it because he considers it a form of abortion, and it could help retinitis pigmentosa, which is like macular degeneration, but different and it's what my dad has and it could help him. I'm all for getting Bush out of office, whether impeaching him or making him resign by making public incriminating evidence about something he did, like saying **** about hezfollah that got caught on camera when israel and lebanon started fighting. To make a long point short, get Bush out of office as soon as possible.

I AM SO GLAD TO SEE THAT SOME PEOPLE ON HERE ARE ACTUALLY PRO AMERICAN AND NOT PRO TERRORISM LIKE YOU.
ILLEGAL, then please explain to me why he is still President moron.....LOL I can't believe the idiotic crap people post on here. I would like to see you do a better job of running our country. Bush beats the H E L L out of GORE and that retard John Kerry.
Do you suggest that the United States should have just laid down and took it when terrorists killed thousands of citizens during 9/11??? OR IS IT BECAUSE YOU BELIEVE EVERY DAMN THING YOU SEE ON CNN AND FOX NEWS??? BACKING DOWN is not the american way. We do not back down and Bush at least has the balls to confront the enemy head on. Hopefully we will get another hardcore president like him & hopefully this time a draft will be implemented and little idiots like you who talk trash about our president will be sent to war. lol Maybe that will stop your whining...
oH YEAH....FYI....I KNOW A HUGE AMOUNT OF AMERICAN SOLDIERS THAT LIKE BUSH....and are extremely proud to be serving their country. Remember that military women and men have CHOSEN to join the military...noone forced them. Also, remember that there are soldiers from ALL OVER THE WORLD fighting in Iraq right alongside the American soldiers. Do your research.
