GENARALLY INDIANS ARE HERO WORSHIPERS.
THEY NEED SOME HEROES FOR EVERYTHING.
UNFORTUNATELY WE DONT HAVE FOOT BALL HEROES..
AND INDIAN NEED MOVIE LIKE THRILLS//
ONLY CRICKET PROVIDE THAT.

Becas soccer or Hockey does'nt get that much media attention.
As i can remember that we all were behind Football and we never knew what's cricket Until this idiot box came to every house.
Mr.A.R.Raja its not that we dont have Heroe's in Soccer or Hockey, There are the thing is they are'nt watched & Identified.

Soccer is a good game but there is not enough income from soccer or other sports while in cricket you earn so much not only from the game but also from commercial sources..
Secondly, parents don encourage their children b'coz they think what will he earn by playing other sport

soccer needs lot of stamina .its not that matter mainly bcoz we have no masters like sachin .
eg. after sania mirza, tennis became fantasy in India .
just wait, now the soccer also will be a fantasy .
NO ONE CAN LEAVE CRICKET.

cricket is considered a religon in most of india
and as for soccer it has not gained as much as popularity as cricket
cricketers earn more money than footballers

Indian players were very patient. So they started playing cricket. They thought it was good game. So other games were not liked by Indians. It may or may not be true.
