YES! you can.
You might even be able to get it yourself, but since you have an adult to book it, go that way.
My daughter travlled alone to NY as a minor and was able to go in and book her own room and stay there, with no problem (this was on Long Island).

No, even if an adult booked it for you, when you check in, if you look like a teenager the front desk will question you. And if other hotel staff sees you and knows that you are alone... then they will probably report you. Because in the US it is illegal to stay in a hotel without and adult if you're underaged. You should be at least 21 to stay alone.

No because the adult that booked it has to check into the room, you can't do it thats the whole point of an adult booking it. But if the adult goes with you then you can stay there by yourself as long as they don't find out about it.

The adult that books it needs to assure that they may charge their card. If it is reserved with a Credit card, then you pay cash, that should be good. You should talk to the management and be sure how they will bill you, and if it is OK.

yes you can. the adult will have to pay for the room with a credit card and check in as if the room were for himself. Then you have to sneak in :-P What state are you going to?

Please think twice about this- even if you do get away with it, which isn't likely, this sounds like asking for trouble. Can't you stay with your friend, or bring someone older with you?
