in history:
colonialism? I think it's cool we have globalism and know the whole world, no frontier left untraveled, but... sometimes, contact with other cultures leads to conflict. Integration, or just knowing other cultures exist creates human conflict. Ultimately, why did we have slavery? Because the European male elites discovered new lands, knew about Bantu cultures, and decided to enslave some people. Why do we have war? because cultures battle for dominance. If the cultures never met, thiscould be avoided. We wouldn't have the threat of nuclear war, of bombings, or at least less of a threat. life would suck because there wouldn't be as advanced technology, but it's be.... natural. (shrug)
in life:
I would have seen what I didn't see before.
Have you ever liked someone so much, blindly, chasing after them, when the person you really wanted-- or needed-- was right beside you? And when you find out how they feel about you, it's too late, because those feelings are gone?
I regret not seeing it. Chasing after the ideal, when I could have had something real.
lol. sounds stupid&corny, i know.
ah there are a bunch of other things I regret... but this iis the only thing that comes to mind right now.

I wouldn't have left the foster home I was in when I was 16. That event affected the results of the rest of my time in high school.

I would spend more time talking to both of my grandmothers so as to get a better understanding of them and their view of life.
