However when you send a text message, your cell phone number acts as sort of an email address so the person receiving the TXT can reply. SO you can not block your number when a TXT is sent by your cell phone. But you can send a TXT online usually with the carriers website, that way you can send a TXT anonymously if you fill in the fields with bogus info, however you would not receive a TXT back. SO the downside of the website is that you can only send. Great if you are sending messages that you don't need or want replied to.

i think you can do it on the ne,,, i think you can send one from www.cbfsms.com where you dont have to give your number, or look at the ringtone / game adverts all over magazines, some of them have a service for annoyomous texting, though that costs an arm and a leg! £1.50 ish methinks!!

you can't although you can by a special feature but i don't know what it is because i have had a knuknown text before you could always log onto a website text such as www.cbfsms.com and send texts from there and no one will know its you.
