take the CMOS battery out for about 2 minutes and put it back in...it will reset the password

Boot the laptop on usually on the very first screen it will give you a key or key combination to press to get into the computers set up (such as F2 on most Dell computers).
Once in setup, look for a place where you can set the power on password and disable it

Reboot again and check that your Battery is ok (try charging it again) if you have any disc's left in it remove them.Hope I could help take care
