What's more fun for a five-year old? I've whittled down amusement park choices this summer to these three. We'll do one in the next week or two and another next year.

We're looking for lots of fun, semi-thrilling (not too thrilling) rides. For example, a little roller coaster is good, but a roller coaster for teenagers would scare her. Heights, on the other hand, are no problem.

A water park is a necessity too. We love water, water slides, water cannons, pools, etc.

The lesser the wait times, the better. Perhaps you're five-year old has more patience than mine...

Thanks.

I really like Knoebel's for a young child. It has a lot of fun rides for a little one and the park itself is very pretty and also nice to walk around because it has kind of a woodsy feel to it. Not like you're just walking on concrete. There is a nice pool, too, but it doesn't have a water park. There's a log flume ride, though, that'll get you wet and cute little boats and things your daughter could ride. There's a picnic grove, too, if you like that kind of thing. And it is very reasonable. No admission fee. Have a good time wherever you go!

Knobels has a water park, safe rides, all the necessary things for a five year old. Also what's good about Knobels is that you don't have to pay to get in. So if you don't feel like going on any rides and don't feel like paying a fortune just to come in, watch your kids, not go any rides, and then take your kids home Knobels is the place for you. You only have to pay to get on the rides. The prices are very low so you won't have to weigh yourself down with money pockets. Dutch Wonderland is also very good. Almost like Knobels but you have to pay to get in. Idlewild, I'm sorry but I've never been there. Hope this information helps you! :-D
