I last saw a female friend 13 yrs ago. Now she's joined FriendsReunited. Should I contact her after all this time? And if so, what should I say to avoid sounding creepy?!

Of course you should contact her; that's what Friends Reunited is all about!

Be casual and friendly about the whole thing - it's easy to get over-excited.

A quick, hello-do-you-remember-me should do nicely. Then let her take the reins. Then you won't be seen as creepy because she can take control of the contact you have.

Obviously if she's on Friends Reunited she wants to meet old friends. Just contact her.

Yes do it.
I have had contact and contacted people on there.
She wont find it creepy, she will be thrilled to hear from you i promise.
I get a real buzz when people contact me, its great to catch up, and after all she wouldnt of joined if she didnt want people to get in touch-would she.
Good luck!

Just say I'm wondering if you are so and so that I knew years and ago and if you are how have you been. Then see what she writes and go with that.
