I've found lesbians to be far less likely to deny the existence of bisexuality. And I've never found one bi man who denies the existence of homosexuality in males.

Gay men are just like straight men in this regard some accept it others are scared of it because it threatens their preconceived notions of homosexuality.

I don't deny the existence of bisexual men - I'm married to one. I think the reason you hear some gay men not believing bisexuals exist is because they themselves went through a phase of trying to convince themselves they were "only bisexual", and maybe the figure all gay men go through that.

not sure...I think when a lot of gay men first admitted that they were attracted to men they were in unsatisfactory straight relationships...at least they were living the heterosexual lifestyle because that was what they still thought they were supposed to do (and it was also what they knew)...It was a lot easier to say well "I'm bi" than to come out and admit to the world (but mostly to themselves) that they were gay. It was sorta like coming out a little step at a time. So that gay men eventually came to realize that saying one was bi was just a step on the way to saying "I'M gay"

This is just my personal opinion, so here it goes: #1, for many gay men, the process of just "coming out" and claiming their homosexuality is just too much to deal with. That is because of society's views and unjustification of their lifestyle. That in mind, I believe that using the term bi-sexual almost acts as a buffer, or the "next level' to come to full term with themselves and their sexuality. Again, just my opinion, I try to accept and understand all aspects of ones sexual preferences.

I've noticed this, as a bi girl. I get comments about only being half out of the closet, or too chicken to admit to being gay. I just laugh and explain that I'm attracted to both, deal with it.

Had to comment here on wolfy... here is the verse...

9) Do you not know that the unjust will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators nor idolaters nor adulterers nor boy prostitutes nor sodomites
10
nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor robbers will inherit the kingdom of God.
11
That is what some of you used to be; but now you have had yourselves washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and in the Spirit of our God.

So? ummm...drunks, thieves, are equivalent to homosexuals, bisexuals, idol worshipers all of whom are cleansed if asked...ummm.

None of threm should be doing what they are doing according to the Holy Bible 1 Corinthians 6: 6-19.

I think assuming that gay people don't think bisexuality exists is a stupid generalizement. It's going to depend on the person's views, not sexuality.

I dunno. Because they're in denial? They refuse to believe that it's even remotely possible for them to be even the tiniest bit attracted to females? But if, as they say, one can't control things like physical attraction...

I don't know about that last statement, but I find it hard to believe that if a really hot woman passes a gay man and gives him a smile, that he won't experience some involuntary twinge in his you-know-what, even a little one. If he doesn't, he's gotta be a robot, or dead inside, or something.

I think it is ridiculous how gay people dont like us bisexuals. You are born bisexual just like you are born gay.
