Probably, but at least his term as a despotic imperial President shall soon come to an end in a few years. Of course, who knows how much more damage he will do before he is finally out of office.

No, Henry VIII and Loius XIV had some dignity and some control over what was going on whereas Bush will be seen by history as a small town boy who only got be be president because his father was and found himself way out of his depth. If you look at his eyes and his body language you can see that inside he is terrified

I have noticed that quite a few people throw out questions like this one. And my internal response is to wonder how old you are, and if you are still of school age, what on earth are they teaching you in school? I find the question to be wildly erratic and filled with analogies which seem to make no sense.

Are you asking did he have the powers of an English or a French King of a particular time period? Obviously not, since Bush will be out of office in a couple of years.

Are you comparing types of despotism?

You can't be comparing wives, there's no similarity.

I can't make out the type of thinking involved here. It shows no discipline of thought.

You're not the only one who comes up with questions like this.
And my goal is to encourage you to refine your thinking in asking questions. What exactly, for instance, is the goal of a question like this--what are you seeking from your readers?
Is it in fact, a real question, or just a way of making a jibe at the president? All of these seem more relevant to me than the question you have asked here.

No, there's nothing imperial about dubya. He doesn't rule anything.

Kings Henry VIII and Louis XIV were very much smarter than him too. There's no comparison.
