In Pokemon LeafGreen, both Mankey and Pikachu can be caught early in your adventure. Mankey are quite common on routes 3, 4, 22, and 23 and Pikachu can be found in the Viridian Forest and in the Power Plant. Pikachu is a fairly rare Pokemon, so you may have to hang out for a while before you find one.

U can catch a mankey usually in route 23 those r the place where mankey r the weakest. u can find it in the victory road and rock tunnel. pikachu can b fuond in viridian forest

david t's right mankey can be found on rt 22 left of the pkm league at lv 2 or 5 if your lucky. and pikachu's in viridian forest where the guy is b4 u leave the forest and it's located in the power plant at lv 25 along with zapdos and electabuzz just remember 2 save b4 u catch it and throw ultra balls at it.

I don't know, but on Red/Yellow they were abundant in both Red and Yellow, but you won't find it in Blue at all. In Red, catch Mankey on Routes 5 through 8. In Yellow, look for the fighting monkey on Routes 3, 4, 22 and 23.
