Yes and no, the motivation to sustain your lifestyle gives you the motivation to work and the desire to maintain keeps you there until you find something better. Usualy you would leave if the environment is so bad or the hours are bad. You may not like your job but the hours may jive with the demands of your personal life or you may even take a job to enhance your personal life. I've worked with many friends and that makes life a lot more bareable. I personally enjoy working, earning my money and making a budget. It is a nice sence of accomplishment. The friendships made at work are also wonderful.

Definite 'NO' to money as the only motivator at work. Being happy at work is constantly the main factor - people, environment, welfare/benefits, growth/development/prospect etc.

hi,
Money is one of the motivating factors.
but what matters most is the satisfaction that the job gives at the end of the day. Am I right, my dear friend?
like having friendly helpful colleagues, interesting projects, more responsibilites (of course, Pay shud match it), challenging job, nice environment.
these things certainly enhances ur productivity
