what can you wear with a red knit cap?

you dont want to wear more red with the red hat anyway. It's hard to get two reds the same & red will stand out more against a plain black or white but keep to simple patterns if any (stripes & polkadots are cool with red, black & white).
I can tell you really love that hat and that's so cool for someone your age. I have a red hat and every time i wear it with black top, i get good compliments.. and the hat cost me 20 cents at a church jumble sale. It is certainly a statement so don't wear a bright red hat if you are shy. Good on you & good luck sweetheart

It will look good with just a pair of jeans and plain top. Or maybe even black and white stripes...they look good with red.
It is also a good idea not to wear other red clothes with your cap, as many colours have so many different shades that it is nearly impossible to match exactly. You are better off going for colours that compliment, instead of trying to match.
