In my opinion there are several movies that of that genre (slapstick comedy) that equal "The Naked Gun":
Hot Shots/ Hot Shots part Duex
Dracula:Dead and Loving it
Reposessed (the one where Neilson is a Priest and he tries to get the devil out of the girl---devil with a blue dress, blue dress, blue dress, devil with a blue dress on---to the day I still crack up at that part)
Scary Movie 3 and 4 (for me, the first two were funny, but had too much sexual innuendo for my taste)
Noticw how Leslie Neilson is in most of these? I will agree with you that he is the King of Slapstick, and a very down to earth person to boot. Did you know that he is deaf?

Sorry, but there is no topping on "Naked Gun".
Especially part "33 a third" is very good and crazy !!!
And ... the final in Hollywood... "... the winner is...."
U can't top this. The gangsters are really bad guys,
and Frank is better than ever... Do You like the scene:
"A sperm account, please...."
Jesus Christ! I love American humor!!!
I have seen — until today — "Naked Gun 1,2,3" more than
24 times ... and I cannot stop watching "Naked Gun" ....
the world never stopped laughing !!!

i used to love naked gun
but they will never rival the classics
