my husband gets heavy sweats at night while he sleeps, why?

sweats don't happen every night, usually happens when he's in a deep sleep.

Is he unwell? Has he lost weight? Has he got enlarged lymph glands in neck, groin or elsewhere? Does he have tendency to catch flu/other infections very frequenty? If you have answered yes to any of these questions, you should probably take him to a doc for a check up. and blood test. It can be due to things like lymphoma, tuberculosis, chronic infections, cancer....I don't mean to scare you, but better safe than sorry. But then again, some people just sweat a lot at night for no particular reason tha we know of.

It sounds like something wrong with hormones.
He may hav HYPOGLYCEMIA/ HYPERINSULINEMIA.
Go for tests of these diseases.

Check it out.
With other symptoms there can b other diseases like AIDS.
Go for HIV test...
AIDS is a disease which may hav very few symptoms or even no symptoms.
If therz only 1 symptom, u shud go for all these tests!!!

No need to fear! I think most probably it may b HYPOGLYCEMIA.
