BMW know the rules regarding weight and 2 kilograms is a lot in F1... Similar thing happened to Honda last year and the whole team got suspended if memory serves me correctly.

Couldn't be happier about Webber... I hope the move works for him he truly deserves it - although I would've have preferred to see him at Renault. If Coulthard confirms that he'll stay with the team for 2007 it would be a great benefit to Webber!!

Yeah, bit harsh for Kubica. I'm a Michael fan and not unhappy about him picking up one point (better than none...although he could have got 5), but don't really understand how a guy who DNF'd can actually score a point.
I thought the race was very exciting but the TV director's coverage of the race was absolutely atrocious...they didn't show anything...hardly showed Button, missed the whole bit with Schumi and Heidfeld making some kind of contact, they were showing the face of Pedro for what seemed like 2million years while jenson was on his final lap....

Clearly, the FIA did it to help Scumbagger. If they were consistent, they would have penalized Scumbagger the second time he cut the chicane on consecutive laps. When he tried to cut it again and deliberately attempted to knock off Heidfeld, who was outdriving him, Scumbagger again should have been penalized.

Instead, the only penalty given was to Kubica who drove an amazing 55 laps on the same set of tires. Because he drove so long, the tires lost so much tread they became underweight.

And who benefits by the very specious and capricious penalty undeservedly given to Kubica? Why, Scumbagger, of course! If Scumbagger had finished tenth, no doubt there would have been no penalty imposed on Kubica.

Yes, from the tires!!

so, 2 kg's from 4 tires means each tire lost 500g or one pound.

One pound of rubber lost from each wheel because they were so worn down. Amazing. Thats what happens when you do 51 laps on inters......

Thats too bad, but I dont think thats a worry for Kubica. That guy is seriously fast and he will be schooling fools in F1 very shortly.

Webber is done at RB, Klien is done. So, Kovalainen at Renault?

Poor Massa. Where is he gonna end up?

Oh yea, can I get 10pts pls?

thanks

I think it's a real pity as he did really well to have come in the points. And I doubt it would really have made that much of a difference under the circumstances.
Michael was damn lucky to get a point, I think!
but what a great race and go Jenson!

its a bit unfair rally, bcos drivers that score points in their first race tend to be remembered in a special group (alain prost, etc)

he will now enter an even more special group all of his own, it is really really bad luck though ;o(

those were also teh first points poland was ever going to score as well, so im sure there are lots not happy bout it
