get a second opinion, pain equals something wrong, doctors are still human no matter what people think of them and so still make mistakes.......if you arent confidant with what one has told you, go and see someone else and continue to do so until you are satisfied with an appropriate opinion. I am a nursing sister, i see this kind of thing all the time, chest pains should never be treated lightly.

I had this too. It was very alarming. Went to the ER twice with chest pain and arm pain. Both times, negative heart problems. After a few months of tests, doc says I have fibromyalgia. Read more here:
http://www.fms-help.com/homepage.htm
I hope you don't have it, because it's not curable. It is manageable, though. Many doctors refuse to accept it's existence, although I can assure you it's quite real. The testing takes months and basically it's a process of elimination. Go the the 50 signs page in the above website and see if you have any of the other symptoms. If you have at least 4 or 5 of them, and have them for 3 months, it's a pretty good bet that you have it. Here's my webpage on fibromyalgia:
http://www.geocities.com/seabulls69/fibromyalgia.html
Bookmark it and, after a few months, if you still have symptoms, email me and I'll update you on what I've found helps.
Again, hope it's not fibro. Good luck,
'nuff said?

These could be signs of a heart attack or stroke. As I found out when my father was sick, some of the tests done on people don't always show a problem like they should. I recommend you go back to your doctor-- or find another one for a second opinion-- to have more tests done. It's better to be safe than sorry. You can't play around with stuff like that. I'm not trying to scare you, I just want you to be okay. :)

Unless the doctor ordered a "Stress Test" you should get another opinion. The test will tell all. Chest pain is nothing to play with. Get a second opinion ASAP!

YES!There was a reason you had an EKG in the first place,I have mitral valve prolapse and it shows on an EKG but how serious it is can only be seen on an Echocardiagram!

I've had similar problems myself and also got it checked out by every kind of doctor imaginable. What were you being checked for in the X-ray? If it wasn't back problems then maybe you should get that checked out because it's really easy for the spine to be knocked out of alignment.

I`m not a doctor! But I will advice you to get a new one! If you got payn there ask yourself these question:
1.Do you sleep on that side? not ill
2.Do you feel presure on that arm? ill
3.How old are you? over 55-ill
4.That payn appers when the weather is bad? not ill

Yes... pursue it further. Sometimes Hospital EKG machines makes mistakes or are not maintained properly, giving you incorrect readings.
