Sorry dear. An eptopic pregnancy means that the fetus is still in the fallopian tube. They will have to remove the fetus from the tube or it will expand with the fetus and cause grave harm to your girl friend.
Talk to her about it. She's probably really scared.

Yes, unfortunately if she doesn't, she has a good chance of......serious infection or worse, sorry to say that, but an Etopic Pregnancy means the egg has lodges on the fallopian Tubes and if the fetus continues to grow, the tube will rupture (explode) this will lead to very heavy bleeding and possibly infection. My sister had one and didn't know and the Doctors told her she made it to hospital just in time, if she bled for any more days, she would have been in serious trouble. If she waits too long and the tube is damaged, they will need to take the ovary and the tube, this could make it very very hard for future conception. If she has a stigma about abortion, speak to her and tell her you will still love her and this is medically necessary. It really is not a baby yet, it is a fetus and by eliminating this, she will have a better chance in the future with two ovaries of having a healthy baby. Here are some links for you and her.

Ectopic. It means a fertilised egg is lodged in the Fallopian tube, the tube which carries ova (eggs) from the ovary to the uterus (womb). There is no possibility that this could ever become a live baby. All that would happen is that the ovum would keep growing until it burst the fallopian tube causing massive blood loss, future fertility problems and possibly death. It must be removed in a surgical operation. Offer her your support.

An ectopic pregnancy is very dangerous to the mother. Instead of anchoring in the womb, the foetus has stopped in one of her fallopian tubes, and is trying to grow there.
There is no possibility that an ectopic baby can be carried to term. There is every possibility that it will rupture the tube, and seriously harm and probably kill the mother.
Ectopic pregnancys are treated as a matter of urgency by hospitals. An operation is carried out to remove the Foetus. It may also result in the removal of the affected tube.
I am very sorry for you and your girl friend. I wish you every sympathy. Good Luck to you both.

It means she has a fertilised embryo in the fallopian tube, an embryo cannot survive this implantation and she will end up having it removed, sorry. If she has a good surgeon and the operate in good time, they may well be able to save the tube, otherwise she could lose that as well which will have an effect on future fertility. It is a potentially life threatening condition for your girlfriend to be in

Eptopic Pregnancy means that the fertilised egg has got stuck in one of the tubes (there are two - one on each side) that leads to the womb.
If the fertilised egg is left in the tube and allowed to grow into a baby, it will KILL your girlfriend.

An ectopic pregnancy could end up killing both mother and baby. It means the baby is growing outside her womb, often in the fallopian tube. If the pregnancy is allowed to progress, the affected Fallopian tube will likely burst, causing gynecologic hemorrhage and endangering your girlfriend's life. It can probably be removed in a laproscopic procedure or treated with the drug methotrexate. She is probably scared and needs your support right now.

A pregnacy that develops outside the womb. Most commonly in a fallopian tube. About 1 in 200 pregnancies are ectopic. The embryo will not survive or develop outside the womb.

Sorry Lee but an ectopic pregnancy means the foetus is in the fallopian tube and will not survive. There is no alternative to your girlfriends situation other than a termination.

Unfortunately yes, it will have to be terminated, otherwise it will probably end up killing your girlfriend.
Ectopic pregnancies occur when the egg is fertilised and starts to grow in the fallopian tubes instead of the womb, this can lead to complications as the foetus grow as it can burst the tubes causing hemorrhaging.
