Yeah, I think Bob Dylan once said something like "People today are still living off the ideas and music of the 60's"
I agree with him. There really hasn't been anything as innovative or as good as what was achieved in the 60's and early 70's. Music today is no where near as good.
A band like The Beatles will never happen again.

Yes definetly music was better in earlier times. I was born in 73 but still know the best music came from the 60's. Especially around '69 at Woodstock. I'm no hippy but the music was so much better that today. Hip Hop has taken over todays music. I hate hip hop with a passion. I has no meaning, no morals. They are not speaking of peace. It's like "puff whatever" said, it's all about the benjamin's. 60's rock desperately needs to make a comeback.

I like many many songs mostly country,blues,rock and of course music from the seventies.If you have as many modern songs as i have , you would relise that modern songs after 1985 are the best songs.I still like some old classic rock songs from the 70"s
