there's this girl and we've been friends since we were kids, infact she's the bestfriend of my bestfriend's sister. she left for the US a couple of years back and we lost touch of eachother till recently. she's back for her vacation and since she got home, we've been spending alot of time together and i'm starting to develop feelings for her but the thing is she's leaving again in a week to continue her studies. what should i do? should i pursue a relationship with her even of it's going to be long-distance? or should i just let the week ride as if nothing's happened?

If you believe.. it is better to have loved and lost, then never to have loved at all... then... you have your answer.

Long-Distance is a formula for disaster.

You present "intelligently"... how old are you? How old is SHE... that makes a HUGE difference.

To save yourself from a heartbreak that could be avoided I suggest that ignore your feelings for her. But if you really like this girl then talk to her about it and be honest to her about how you feel. If she has feelings for you then you guys can come to some sort of agreement on how to make the long-distance relationship work. For most people long distance does not work and for others it works out perfectly. So, sit her down and have a honest and sincere discussion about how you feel about her and make sure that you tell her that she is not obligated in reflecting the same feelings to you. You will respect any decision that she will make. Best of luck amigo

Find out how she feels first. Has she given any signs that she wants to continue having contact with you after she leaves, and not just a friendly "lets keep in touch"? Is she planning on coming back and living there? If not I wouldn't pursue it.

Honestly, enjoy the time together, too many variables in this equation can go wrong. You can discuss your feelings with her, but there a lot of women in the world closer too you that I think you can build a relationship with rather than long distance, waiting to see if it works and if it doesn't you have now alienated your sisters best friend. my vote.......enjoy it while it lasts but no commitment.

If you have feelings for her than you must say that to her and be honest , it's ok if it was a long distance relationship since you feel something for her and maybe she'll come back after she finishes her studies.

Pursue a relationship. Long distance relationships can work.

I think that you should start a relationship with her... but ask her at the right time... and make sure it is the right time because she might not feel the same way.

Good Luck

Let her know how you feel first, i bet she feels the same way about you. Both of you can come up with a solution for your distance problem.

If you truely love her, it's definitely worth the long-distance relationship.

try to date her....if she's interested, then nothin' will be tough as long as both of u hold tight to each other......i know it would be hard when one of u are away, but u still can email each other.... :)if u've time ,visit her......do not let the opportunity slip away as it's almost impossible to go backwards again......good luck!!!!!!!!
