Do a yoga course until you master the art of standing on your head (Salamba sirs asana). That will teach little drops where they should go and where not.
The reason why water gets stuck in the ear has to do with the amount of ear wax. So if you regularly clean your ears with Q-tips you will have a lesser chance of water getting stuck in your ear.

Consult an ENT Specialist and remove earwax. Earwax may be the cause for retaining water in the inner ear. Before taking bath, plug your ears with cotton.

Try hopping on your foot which is direct under your ear so if its your right ear that is blocked then hop on your right ear if its your left ear then hop on your left leg

tissue paper, lie on the tissue paper first on one side and than on other side.
you can put the tissue papper in your ear and it absorbs better than cotton buds.
