parents is white and the other is black? Because as for my life experience, all the children I have seen, read or heard about born in white-black families, are all absolutely black? May be there is some kind of statistics on this theme, I would like to know about it?

Maybe research genetic studies of children of interracial marriages. There must be some on the internet. Good luck.

PS I remember reading that darker skin may result from a dominant gene, and lighter skin from a recessive gene. But this area is so sensitive, and there has been so much hatred and heartache associated with race, that I want to tread lightly. Someone else must know more.

Recently there was a story in the news about a couple who had twin daughters. One had 'black' features (dark skin, dark curly hair, brown eyes) and one had all 'white' features (red hair, I think it was, light colored eyes, very white skin, etc) That happened because both the mother and the father were mixed race (both mother and father had a black and a white parent) It looked really odd with this 'black' couple and their 'white' daughter, but it was cute too! Can you just imagine those two adorable little girls having to explain how they can actually be not only full-blooded sisters, but twins for the rest of their lives? Methinks they're going to be called liars an awful lot.

As for 'absolutely'? No... you sound racist, by the way.

If a toddler is born to some who're of diverse races, the toddler has a number of both races in them. Like if the moms and dads are black and white, the toddler could properly be white with black helpful aspects or any incorrect way round.

sometime the white parents genes are dominant and the children come out looking more like that parent it just depends on the family history. also if the black parent has white in their family there is another reason. my brother is black, indian and white and my nephews look white.

years ago mixed offspring where referred to as ma lotto, my best girlfriend throughout high school was mixed and she was probably one of the most beautiful women to this day she just always had the best tan that we all had to spend tons of money for at the tanning beds, i do believe it all has to do with the most dominant gene, which for the most part is usually the male. she married a Caucasian man and her children have African American features, and Caucasian features
